It’s not every day that one gets a chance to spend a morning with top home design experts. So, it was a treat when I recently gathered with my fellow luxury real estate brokers for breakfast and a talk with three of Portland’s finest: Holly Freres of JHL Design, Rachel Browning of Salvage Works, and Kathleen Bierma of Heirloom Homes as they shared the latest trends in home décor.
“Oh. My. Gawd. I absolutely have to go out and buy that new $5,000 Eames lounger. I must have it right now. Its the coolest chair ever.”
Whenever we look at trends, it is important to pay attention to where we have come from, where we are now, and where we are going in the future.

WHAT CAN ADVERTISING DO FOR YOUR COMPANY? | |
1. ADVERTISING BUILDS BRAND AWARENESS 2. REPEATING AN AD INCREASES BRAND AWARENESS 3. THIN MARKET CONCEPT |
|
There is significant evidence that supports repeat advertising, continuity and yearround advertising and yet some advertisers continually run infrequent advertising campaigns, or only place their ads in specific focus sections. For maximum effectiveness, advertising should be consistent to gain peak effect. |
|
·Brand advertising significantly reduces the length of the sales cycle. ·Advertising tells your story. ·Advertising announces products and services. ·Advertising changes opinions and attitudes of the reader. ·Non-advertising companies are placed at a disadvantage to advertisers. |
