Structure + Style 2019: Design Winners

Presenting the winners of the 2019 Structure + Style Awards: Design!

INTERIOR DESIGN: BATH

In order to preserve the integrity of the space we married together both Old World and New. We took Victorian flare and coupled it with contemporary comfort, using modern day craftspeople to create the art of traditional space.

FURNITURE DESIGN: SINGLE PIECE OR COLLECTION

The client chose an unusual black walnut slab for a coffee table, with both live and cut edges. At nearly 48″ wide in some places and 36″ in others, with open knot holes, it presented a design challenge in marrying the top to the base.

INTERIOR DESIGN: WHOLE HOUSE UNDER 3,000 SQ FT

Inspiration for this dilapidated 1970’s house was clear from the start. The priority was to breathe new life into the vaulted living space and enhance the floor-to-ceiling windows while overhauling the haphazard floor plan. This home now boasts 360 degrees of breathtaking design, texture and modern elegance.

INTERIOR DESIGN: WHOLE HOUSE OVER 3,000 SQ FT

Past. Present. Future. The timeless design of this turn of the century home is brought into postmodernity through a neutral palette, juxtaposition, and visual allure. Bringing life to old items and pairing them next to something new gives this home a cultured and traveled feel.
