After practicing architecture for 16 years, Jeff Lamb launched his own firm in 2000. It takes on challenging work for clients who welcome innovative architecture. (For one client, he designed a 5,500-pound automated marble-clad door to separate the home’s living room from a sometimes-public art gallery.) That door, and the rest of the Pearl District warehouse in which it sits, was featured on the cover of the July-Aug. 2003 issue of Oregon Home.
