I was wondering if you could tell me who makes the bed on page 29 of the Jan.-Feb. 2008 issue (“Sleek and Modern,” Design Matters). Thanks so much!

Editor S.D. responds: “According to the Oregon Home feature in which that bedroom originally appeared, the home- owner bought that maple bed from Hip Furniture in Northwest Portland (1829 N.W. 25th Ave., 503-225-5017 or go to ubhip.com). It was a beautifully sleek and simple bed, as I remember on shoot day!”
